Because I couldn't make to London Industrial Visit I had an assignment to do. And I got together with Juliet to complete it. Juliet has made most of the effort to design it. Also i shared my ideas on design. We have both done researches. I did a lot of research on various tv channel symbols. Juliet has done the research on old Glyndwr Tv symbols.

Influence Boards
In this task we have been given to create an influence board of six different influences we got inspired.
500 Days of Summer
My first influence board is on 500 days of Summer. The reason I have chosen this film because it has got a great story with great actors. There is a scene where parallel editing takes place. There is a split screen on the half the screen the actions of expectations can be seen. This scene was influence for my group to do our parallel editing film.
Stanley Kubrick
Stanley Kubrick has a great influence on all my friends and on me as well. All work such as; essay and presentation was on him. The reason he influences me is the way he directs his films. If you don't know about him you will never be able to understand his films.
Annie Leibovitz
When I first learned about Annie Leibovitz I was so excited learning more about her. I loved the way she worked with Rolling Stone. When someone watches her documentary film about her you can feel the positive and the hyper energy of taking photos. That's what it made me feel.
Nihat Odabasi
Nihat Odabasi is a Turkish fashion photographer . I fallow him on his social network sites. I like seeing his new works. He works with famous people in Turkey. On these social network sites he tells about how passionate to his job and how much he works with a big passion and that is the reason he is on my influence board.
Nuri Bilge Ceylan

Nuri Bilge Ceylan is a Turkish director and photographer. His first short film Koza (Cacoon) was screened in the 1995 at Cannes Film Festival. He recieved many awards with his debut feature Kasaba (Small Town) . His third feature Uzak (Distant) recieved many awards including the Grand Jury Prize and the best actor prize at Cannes, and was praised internationallu. He won the best director award in 2008 Cannes Film Festival for Uc Maymun (Three Monkeys). I think his success is a big pride for Turkey and the people who want be a director.
Surf Photography
Surfing is my biggest hobby ever. Having the great feeling of being on the waves is not very explainable but some of the great photographers can show us how amazing the surfing is. I really wished to do some surfing photography also filming as well. I am looking forward May to go to surfing and get some good shots. Also on my commercial storyboard surf moves were my influence to draw it.

Remember that the screen play is the most important element in the package-films are about stories.
Build up relationships sales agents, bankers, lawyers
Corner store strategy look in the financial sources
Don't try to run before you can walk, develop fully
Know the value of your project in the market place ( budget the project then find out what perceived value is, look at similar projects looking at finance plan )
Make it for less than it's value
Know when to give up
Remember the last 10
Chat Noir Production

We have been shown many examples of her work. She quoted "Be Curious" and advised to start selling our works on the internet. The fallowing session was "Getting a job" by Wendy Rees from BBC Wales. After her graduation from Aberystwth University in law, she wasn't looking for a job on her area. Coincidentally she got offered a job from S4C. After she joined the BBC to work in HR. Glyndwr University, Creative Futures Week 5-9 March 2012
Creative Futures Week, 5-9 March 2012, Glyndwr University
5 March 2012
Today, i started the day by attending the lectures in William Aston Hall. Unfortunately Professor Maurice Cockrill RCA wasn't able to attend due to his health issues. We had a lecture about William Shakespeare's life. To follow that Angus Montgomery, editor of weekly publication Design week gave some advice about how to promote ourselves, how to make ourselves appealing and how to break into industry. He shared many different quotes such as; "Design is a special skill.", "You need to be collaborative", and "You have to love what you do." by him. He showed us many examples of successful artists; 300 million campaign; Stop sex trafficking of children and young people, One laptop per child, Plumen light bulbs, Your journey through A&E, B&W studio, Resonate and some students; Sam Grey, print work 'Vertigo', Allen Cloack with Olympic Games Project. In the afternoon I attend to Copyright lecture by Janet Jones. She has given suggestions about how to avoid copyright, protecting our copyright. There were 4 myths about it; copyright can protect my ideas, post your work to yourself to prove copyright, I can use %10 of original materiel without infringing copyright, everything on the internet is in the public domain and so free to use. Also some students in the theater shared the problems that they faced before such as; a guy who makes websites had a client, he copied something o his website and it was checked and seen that it had copyright, he has been sued by the company who had the copyright of it. However it wasn't his fault. He struggled to get it sorted and persuade to company. Following lecture i attend was "Getting started in Photography" with Paul Hermann is the photographer and the director of Redeye Photography. There were a lot of quotes he shared like; "Work hard and be nice to people." on Wallpaper, "Logic, rhetoric and maths." by Iain Bennett. He talked about "What do top photographers have in common?", "How the photography fees should be applied?", "21 things you can do". That was the last lecture of the day. I found all the talks beneficial but the most i enjoyed was about the photography due to my interest in photography.
